About The Project

The inspiration behind the school management system project stems from my personal experience and passion for education. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by schools in managing administrative tasks, student records, and communication between stakeholders. These inefficiencies often led to confusion, delays, and hindered the overall educational experience for students. As I pursued my education and delved into the world of technology, I became increasingly aware of the transformative power that software solutions could bring to various industries, including education. I realized that by leveraging technology, I could contribute to solving the problems faced by schools and enhancing the overall management and organization of educational institutions. My inspiration deepened when I had the opportunity to visit a public high school in Hargeisa, Somaliland. Witnessing the dedication of the teachers, administrators, and students in an environment where resources were limited, I became even more determined to create a solution that would streamline their administrative processes and empower them to focus more on education.

School Dashboard

This is simple dashboard that shows little information about the student's distribution in terms of their gender, their standards and the total number of students in the school, the total number of alumni students, the number of students admitted per specific academic year.

Student Details

This is kanban view of the students, it highlights the important information of the students such as student ID, student name, the standard and class, and the gender of the student.

Student Details

This form view contains the basic information of the student such as name of the student, student ID, standard and class of the student, joined academic year, admission date, gender of the student, date of birth and age, address of the student, class division, parent details of the student and the data of the previous school if it exits.

Timetable

This is the timetable of the subjects. it contains the information of school periods such as when the periods starts and when it ends. There are seven days in the week, each day students take about 5 or 6 periods of different subjects.

Examinations and Grading System

In this section, it contains an image that clarifies the examinations of the school management system. The type of exam or its name, the pass and fail marks, the evaluator of the examination and standard taking this exam, the date of the examinations. It contains all of these data as shown in the image.

Human Resource Management

This form view contains the data of human Resource management such as; the name of the staff member, its role, date of appointment, if that staff is the head or principal of the school, if the member is parent or not, personal information such as phones, email, marital status and others.
